ICC WOMEN T20 : INDIA WINS ITS FIRST ENCOUNTER AGAINST PAKISTAN

The icc women t20 fest has started last day and india has started its first move with its win against pakistan ,the match played against pakistan in newlands cricket stadium was showing india's strength in the tounament by winning the game by 7 wickets in 19th over.The toss of the match was won by pakistan and they decided to bat first the pakistan .The start of pakistan was going at a medium pace but lost the 1st wicket in 10 runs when javeria khan give a catch to harmanpreet kaur in the first over but the game was not going against pakistan,pakistan women was going at medium pace and in the 6th over they lose the wicket of muneeba ali by a timely stumbing by richa ghosh but after this the next shock was waiting for pakistan when india gained a wicket in next over of nida dar by a catch to wicketkeeper richa ghosh giving a blow to pakistan but they were slowly recovering from fall of wickets till the 12th over when sidra ameen gave a catch to richa ghosh causing the 4th wicket to fall.The pakistan was yet to start the scoring game when bismah maroof the captain was making pakistan recover by scoring 68 runs for team with a support from ayesha naseem scoring 43 runs eventually making a total of 149 runs for india to chase.India bowlers radah yadav gained two wickets in the game .India batting was better start than pakistan and pakistan made its first breakthrough in the 5th over when yastia bhatia gave a catch to fatima sana but india was going at a fast phase in scoring till the 9th over when shafali verma wicket was taken by nashra sandhu and when the score was 93/2 india lost harmenpreet kaur but this was retaliated when india scoring gone through a good phase by jeminah rodrigues half century and second strike support from richa india eventually making the team win,India perfomance in bowling need improvement in its next match for a good journey in the world cup
